CONSENT AGENDA
The Consent Agenda allows the City Council to take action on routine matters by one motion that shall not be debated and shall be adopted by unanimous vote of those present. Any individual Council member may remove an item from the Consent Agenda for discussion on the regular agenda. (Council action)

  1. Authorize travel and lodging expenses for the Mayor to attend the MN Mayors Together Conversations in Rochester, MN on October 4-5 and Willmar, MN on December 6-7, 2018.

 

NEW BUSINESS

  1. Mayoral Proclamation of National Rail Safety Week, September 23-29, 2018 (Council action)
  2. Resolution No. ___-18 approving application for Exempt Permit for the MN Deer Hunters Association, Trails End Chapter to conduct a raffle on Thursday, October 11, 2018 with the drawing to be held at the Elk’s Lodge #1599 (Council action)
  3. Authorize the Police Civil Service Commission to establish a list of eligibles for Patrol Officer (Council action)
  4. Approve 2019 Volunteer Assistance Matching Grant of $2,500 from the Minnesota DNR for Fire Department assistance to suppress wildland fires and authorize signatures (Council action)
  5. Authorize submitting grant application to the State Fire Marshal for Turnout Gear Washer/Extractor/Dryer Program, 10% local match funds, and authorize signature(s) (Council action)
  6. Authorize the Mayor to send a letter of disappointment to the Minnesota Historical Society for the Grand Mound meeting scheduled in Minneapolis on September 21, 2018 (Council action)
  7. Any other business.
