PLANNING COMMISSION REGULAR MEETING

ON WEDNESDAY, MARCH 25, 2020; 5:30 P.M.

COUNCIL CHAMBERS, 600 FOURTH STREET

PROPOSED AGENDA

MN Statute 13D.021 allows meetings to be conducted by telephone or other electronic means under the following conditions:

  1. The City Council determined an in-person meeting or a meeting conducted under section 13D.02 is not practical because of a health pandemic.
  2. All Planning Commission members participating in the meeting can hear one another and can hear all discussion.
  3. Attendance by the public is not feasible due to the health pandemic.
  4. At least one member of the Planning Commission is physically present at the regular meeting, unless unfeasible to the health pandemic.
  5. All votes are conducted by roll call so each members’ vote on each issue can be identified and recorded.

A phone meeting has been scheduled in the event that the Planning Commission members are unable to attend the meeting to be held on March 25, 2020 at 5:30 p.m. in person. The public can dial into the Planning Commission meeting using the following.

  1. Discuss make up, membership and schedule for meetings.

NEW BUSINESS

  1. Request from Andrea Ducharme (1109 8th Street 56649 LLC) seeking a conditional use for the R-1A zoned property located at 1109 8th Street, to be used as a B&B rooming house, tourist rental.
  2. Request from Vickie Bernard (Northern Options for Women) seeking a conditional use for the R-2A zoned property located at 923 5th Street, to be used for offices and activities.

ADJOURNMENT

The meeting may include a quorum (three or more) of the members of the City Council; however, no official actions of the City Council shall be taken.
