CONSENT AGENDA The Consent Agenda allows the City Council to take action on routine matters by one motion that shall not be debated and shall be adopted by unanimous vote of those present.  Any individual Council member may remove an item from the Consent Agenda for discussion on the regular agenda.  (Council action)

  1. Bethany Tupper, 1000 3rd Street, discuss parking matters (Council discussion/action)
  2. Adopt Resolution No. __-2024 approving application and permit for at 1 day to 4 day temporary on-sale liquor license for St. Thomas Aquinas Church for a Community Dinner Fundraiser for the St. Thomas School scheduled for Saturday, November 2, 2024 (Council action)
  3. Adopt Resolution No. __-2024 Airport Improvement Program (AIP) Project No. 3-27-0043-046-2024 (Council action)
  4. Approval and authorize execution of a maintenance contract for service with Hamilton Medical for two (2) Hamilton T-1 Ventilators for the ambulance service, Fire Chief/EMS Director Adam Mannausau (Council action)
  5. Approve Resolution No. __-2024 setting Hearing on Proposed Assessment of the cost of Improvement for Bituminous Paving of 9th Avenue East between 19th Street East and 20th Street East (Council action)
  6. Approve recommendation of the selection committee to hire Rice Lake Construction as the Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) for the water plant rehabilitation project (Council action)
  7. Public Works Committee recommendation(s):
    1. Approve the purchase of a Stepp Mfg. 3.0 CY (4-ton) diesel dump style premix heater (pothole patching machine) from Fund 402 Street Cap-Outlay 42210-5800 (Council action)
  8. Committee-of-the-Whole recommendation(s):
    1. Approve advertising and hiring three (3) part-time, seasonal Parks & Facilities Assistant positions (Council action)

  9. Approve professional services of Kraus-Anderson to provide a Facility Condition Assessment, Strategic Facility Review, & Preconstruction Services proposal for the property located at 2232 2nd Avenue East –  Police Department, Mike Kostiuk, Chief of Police (Council action)
  10. Set public hearing date of Monday, October 7, 2024 at 5:30 PM to take public comment regarding portable recording devices (body-worn cameras) for the International Falls Police Department (Council action)
