A special meeting of the City Council of the City of International Falls, Minnesota was held in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Building on the 12th day of November 2024 at the hour of 5:13 P.M. (immediately following the Committee-of-the-Whole meeting)
MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Droba and Councilors Buller, Kalar and Wegner
MEMBERS ABSENT: Councilor Holden

MOTION by Councilor Kalar to recess the open meeting at 5:13 P.M. and move to close the meeting for the purpose of labor negotiations strategy with a quorum of the City Council present per Minnesota Statute § 13D.03, Subd. 1 (b). Motion seconded by Councilor Wegner and carried unanimously. |

MOTION by Councilor Wegner to reconvene open session at 5:53 P.M. Motion seconded by Councilor Buller and carried unanimously.
Mayor Droba gave a summary of the closed meeting stating discussions occurred regarding Woodworkers Local W33 International Association of Machinist and Aerospace Workers and International Union of Operating Engineers, Local #49 Collective Bargaining Agreement negotiations strategy. Droba stated no official action will occur at this meeting. Negotiation meetings will continue as scheduled. |
