  1. Consider bids for Lots 30-32, Block 32, Fransons Addition to Koochiching, Parcel No. 92-109-02300 and authorize the City Attorney to work with the successful bidder on a purchase agreement (Council information/action)

OLD BUSINESS

  1. Adopt Resolution No. __-23, Resolution Approving the Final Tax Levy Collectible 2024 and the 2024 Budget for the City of International Falls, MN (Council action)

CONSENT AGENDA  The Consent Agenda allows the City Council to take action on routine matters by one motion that shall not be debated and shall be adopted by unanimous vote of those present.  Any individual Council member may remove an item from the Consent Agenda for discussion on the regular agenda.  (Council action)

  • Approve 2024 license renewals, as presented
  • Approve/allow necessary expenses for up to six (6) ambulance personnel to attend the Arrowhead EMS Conference and Expo in Duluth, MN, January 19-21, 2024- as a budgeted item

  1. Consider Resolution No.___-2023 approving Minnesota Investment Fund (MIF) Program application to provide funds for preconstruction services and partial facility construction costs for Onesimus Corporation (Council action)
  2. Consider use of Smokey Bear Park and collaboration with the Intl Falls Area Chamber of Commerce for the 2024 Icebox Days Festival planned for January 19-28, 2024 – Shannon Arnold, Chamber Administrator (Council action)
  3. Approval of Year 2024 license renewals that may include tobacco and/or liquor applications, as presented (Council action)
  4. Approve 2024 regular City Council meeting schedule (Council action)
  5. Adopt Resolution No. ___-2023 approving Designation of Polling Places for 2024 (Council action)

  3. City office will be closed for the New Year’s holiday on Monday, January 1, 2024
  4. Next regular City Council meeting is Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at 5:30 P.M.
