PAYMENT OF CLAIMS AND APPROVAL FOR PAYMENT OF ACCOUNTS PAYABLE

  1. Adopt Resolution No. __-2024, Approving Transfers, Payment of Claims and Accounts Payable (Council action)

  • Approve 2025 license renewals, as presented

NEW BUSINESS

  1. Consider approval of the special assessment of the cost of Improvement for Bituminous Paving of 5th Avenue West between 19th Street and 20th Street – public was hearing held November 4, 2024 at 5:00 P.M. (Council action)
  2. Approve contingent offer of employment pending satisfactory completion of pre-employment requirements for the vacant Mechanic position (Council action)
  3. Approve designating the Director of Public Works as the authorized representative for the City for the USDA Rural Development application process (Council action)
  4. Adopt Resolution No. __-2024 Routine Maintenance Agreement No. 1050291W02 between State of Minnesota, Department of Transportation and City of International Falls for FY 2025 and FY 2026 (Council action)
  5. Adopt Resolution No. __-2024 a resolution opting to increase the benefit level for Firefighters who are vested in the Statewide Volunteer Firefighter Plan (Council action)
  6. Approval for demolition of property located at 801 7th Street – Chelsea Nelson, City Attorney (Council action)
  7. Set canvassing board meeting for Thursday, November 14, 2024 at 4:00 P.M. to canvass the results of the November 5, 2024 General Election (Council action)
  8. Request approval of Year 2025 license renewals that may include tobacco and/or liquor applications, as presented (Council action)
  9. Any other business.
